Product Overview

Saliguard LAG is a broad-spectrum liquid antimicrobial preservative that combines Lactic Acid, Gluconolactone, 1,2-Hexanediol, and Water. Lactic acid, naturally found in the skin's Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), helps maintain an acidic pH and delivers gentle exfoliation as an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). Gluconolactone gradually releases gluconic acid to support preservation while functioning as a moisturizing Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA). Together, this AHA-PHA system provides anti-ageing benefits and helps reinforce the skin's structural integrity.
