Product Overview

Salisol® EHT is a PABA derivative widely used in sunscreen formulations for effective UVB absorption. It exhibits a maximum absorption at 314 nm and offers strong UVB-filtering performance compared to other UVB filters. Salisol® EHT is considered safe for cosmetic use and is commonly combined with other sunscreen actives to help achieve broad-spectrum sun protection.

Applications & Use Cases

  • Sunscreens & SPF products: Protects against UVA and UVB rays in sprays, lotions, and stick formulations
  • Water-Resistant formulations: Being oil-soluble, it is ideal for water-resistant products
  • Other Cosmetics: Compatible with cosmetic ingredients, e.g. esters, emollients, emulsifiers, UV filters, can be easily incorporated into sunscreen formulations like emulsions, gels, sprays, serum oil and stick
