Salisol HS is a water-soluble UVB sunscreen agent widely used in cosmetic and sun care formulations. Its strong UVB absorption makes it an effective component when combined with other UV filters to achieve broad-spectrum protection. Because of its high-water solubility, Salisol HS is especially suitable for lightweight, non-oily formulations. The recommended pH range for Salisol HS is 7.0 to 7.5, typically adjusted using alkalis such as TEA, NaOH, or KOH.
